Resumen:
On this talk, we'll go through an overview of Google's search engine main components, look into the good, the bad and the ugly about dealing with very large amounts of data and present some interesting observations from serving the world's search queries.
Short Bio:
Diego Lopes Nogueira is a Software Engineer at Google. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil and is finishing his Masters degree at the same university, including a joint work with the CS department at Rutgers University. His areas of interest include power management and cluster computing.
